Meet Nova, This Week’s Pet of the Week

This weeks pet of the week is a sweet Australian Cattle dog mix.

Meet four year old Nova, she has been with the shelter since last July Nova has a sponsored adoption fee of 75 dollars plus the cost of her dog tags and is ready to be adopted today. She may be a little up in age but, inside she still is a puppy.

"She loves people, high energy would be a good dog if you have a big back yard to run and play in. She doesn’t get along real well with other dogs and cats. Whether or not that is something that can be worked with not sure but, we would want her to go to a home that doesn’t have any cats or dogs," said Jody Murray, Executive Director of Animal Shelter Society.

The pet of the week was showcased at the MASS Bingo Hall where they are holding their annually ‘Big Flea Market Yard-Sale’ on Saturday.

"We’ve had great response this year, we’ve had a lot of people donate items to the shelter so all of the items that you see around me here are things that people have generously donated and all of the proceeds that we make from here come straight to the shelter," said Murray.

Doors open for the ‘Big Flea Market Yard-Sale’ on Saturday at 8 a.m.
