The Renner Theater Presents Mister Roberts
The Zane Trace Players presented an original Broadway play this weekend, ‘Mister Roberts’
Today marks day three of the two week long production at the Renner Theater. Director, Rich Tolliver said they’ve a moderate crowd this weekend and would like to see more people in attendance because it’s definitely a performance you won’t forget.
"Everybody that is leaving is telling us what a good time they’ve had and they really enjoyed it. Especially enjoying the characters and the scenery and how the lighting and everything and sound effects brings it all together. It’s a really comprehensive show." said Tolliver.
Tolliver said if you come out to this play, you’ll leave with a real sense of history on what this country is based on.
"It’s very exciting to see how people react. We got displays out in the audience, stuff to kind of get them in the mood before the show starts. There is real artifacts from the era," said Tolliver " I think it’s not just going to be a show, it’s more of an event. It’s more of a time to get out and experience something."
