Supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters with a Test Drive

20251030 Drive For Community

ZANESVILLE, OH – If you’ve been looking for a reason to take a new car for a spin, here’s one that helps a good cause!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Appalachian Ohio is teaming up with Dutro Ford in Zanesville for their “Drive 4 Ur Community” event on Saturday, November 1st. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., you can test drive a vehicle and support youth mentoring programs at the same time. For every test drive, Dutro Ford will donate $30 to Big Brothers Big Sisters.

“Today is my birthday. My only wish is that we get community members to go to Dutro and test drive cars to support Big Brothers Big Sisters. If we get more community members to do that, the youth really can win and benefit from this.” BBBSAOH President and CEO, Katie Lupsor said.

Drivers must be 18 years old with a valid license, and only one driver per household can participate. Participants will receive a BBBS keychain and be entered for a chance to win a flat-screen TV. Two lucky winners will be chosen, thanks to Dutro Ford who is sponsoring the event and donating the prizes.

“Dutro’s has always been big on supporting our local community. Big Brothers Big Sisters is an important mentoring program here in Muskingum County. It’s very important for us to give back for our local community, and what better way to do that than supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters?” Dutro Ford Car Sales Manager, Keith Peck said.

Each test drive will take about 15 minutes. You can show up anytime between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. or reserve your time online by visiting the website below.
