Daniel Beebe

Daniel Patrick Beebe, 77, of Nashport, died on Monday, October 27, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 13, 1948, in Zanesville, a son of the late Robert and Grace (Shrider) Beebe.
Daniel was a graduate of West Muskingum High School and later graduated with his associate’s degree in social science and his bachelor’s degree in communication from Ohio University. He served our country in the 342nd Military Police Company U.S. Army Reserve.
Over the years Daniel worked for Zanesville Coca-Cola, Phoenix Coca-Cola, and Zanesville Pepsi Cola from route driver to various management positions. He retired from the Licking County Department of Job and Family Services. He also drove school bus for Licking Valley, Zanesville City and West Muskingum Schools. He was a member of the American Legion and an Elder of the Putnam Presbyterian Church. Daniel was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America for more than 70 years, serving as a scoutmaster and board member. He was also a lifetime member of the National Eagle Scouts Association. Daniel truly had a servant’s heart and had memberships in First Families of Muskingum County, First Families of Ohio, the Muskingum County Genealogical Society, Muskingum County Pioneer and Historical Society and Sons of the American Revolution. He spent over 50 years working with youth through multiple facets including Trinity United Presbyterian Church, First Christian Church and St. James Episcopal Church.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Kristin “Kris” (Glaser) Beebe, whom he married on June 9, 1973; a daughter, Katelynn Beebe; cousins, Anita Dunzweiler, Bruce (Pat) Dunzweiler, Joyce (Bo) Keck; his in-laws: Jim (Tina) Glaser, John (Carolyn) Glaser, Jeff Glaser, Kay (Bob) Lane, Kelli Glaser; special friend, Mette Wilson; and many extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grand-dog, Byron, and his brother-in-law, Jay.
The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00PM at Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 830 Military Road, Zanesville, Ohio. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow with the Rev. Dr. Ronny Dower serving as officiant. Daniel would want you to be comfortable. We ask that your honor his memory by dressing in casual attire.

A cremation has taken place under the direction of the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home & Crematory.
