Erma Riley

Erma M. (Wagner) Riley, age 88, went to her eternal home on October 29th, 2025. She was born on March 19th, 1937, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, to Major B. Wagner and Mildred (Ruble) Wagner.
Erma loved spending time with family and friends, playing cards and setting her favorite card adversary Ruth Johnson, cheering on her Ohio State Buckeyes in football and basketball, and enjoying her lottery. She was known for her loving, caring, and forgiving nature, always putting others before herself.
She is survived by her children, Ronald E. (Raejean) Riley and Christy K. (Steve) Little; grandchildren, Josh Riley, Stephanie Riley, Shane Foster, and Gary Foster; and great-grandchildren, Marisa McFarland, Blaze and Breeze Foster, and Kole and Jade Foster. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and her special nieces, Janet (Phil) Jones and Debbie (Adam) Kurtz, as well as dear friend Marlene Wagner.
Erma was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas D. Riley, who passed on July 31, 2009; her parents, Major and Mildred Wagner; her brother, Robert E. Wagner; and her sisters, Betty Marie Wagner and MaryLou (Wagner) Higgins.
Calling hours will be 4-8 PM, Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Meadowview Church of Christ, 6750 Raiders Road, Frazeysburg, where Erma attended church.
The funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 5, 2025, with Minister Sam Dunn officiating. Following services, she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Thomas, at Muskingum Church Cemetery.

Erma will be deeply missed, and her legacy of love and devotion to family will be remembered by all who knew her.
