I-70 Closed At Muskingum Licking County Line

An early morning accident forced the closing of both lanes of I-70 Westbound. The Highway Patrol says just after 2:30 a.m. Tuesday a semi tractor trailer lost control and went off the right side of the highway. Troopers say the trailer is blocking both lanes of the interstate at the Muskingum/Licking County line. There were no injuries reported. Crews are working to clear the scene. Traffic is being detoured onto US 40 until the highway is re-opened which is expected around 6:30 a.m.
