Nancy Coganow

Nancy S. Coganow, 69 of Zanesville, died 8:36 AM, Friday, November 28, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born Tuesday, March 27, 1956, in Columbus, the daughter of John Tredway and Frances Effie (Jones) Tredway, and married Gerald “Jerry” Coganow.

Nancy was a beautiful soul whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her. She loved traveling and sharing life’s adventures with her devoted husband, Jerry. Her greatest joy was spending time with her daughter, Carrie, and her beloved grandchildren—Amasia, Aniah, and little Tommy—who were the light of her life. Nancy had a special love for animals and carried a heart of gold, always ready to offer compassion and care to anyone who needed it.

Her gentle spirit, loving nature, and unwavering strength will be deeply missed but forever remembered by her family and all who were blessed to know her.

Look to the night sky tonight — there is a strange and beautiful new star. Please remember our dear Nancy, who has passed on. You can feel her presence and see her reflection as she shines down on us from above. May her light guide us, comfort us, and give us hope as we learn to carry on without her.
