PowerHouse Presents Little Shop of Horrors Musical

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- It’s the final curtain call for the Little Shop of Horrors Musical.

Sunday The PowerHouse Chapter of West Muskingum High School presents Little Shop of Horrors Musical. Executive Director and Producer Kristy Szmetylo described this play as dark humorous musical.

“To see kids really excel in art. I think it’s the best apart about it. The audience has loved it. Especially the part were the shop transforms,” said Szemetylo.

Szmetylo said Zane State College Idea Lab created the stage props. Szmetylo also stressed the importance of supporting the arts.

“I think in any profession that a person chooses to go into, it’s important to have those creative skills to be able to think outside the box and solve problems,” said Szemetylo.

If you were unable to make it this musical don’t fret. PowerHouse will host a visual art show at Muskingum University featuring high school photography at the end of May.
