Luis Rios Melendez

Luis Antonio Rios Melendez 50, of Derwent, passed away November 29, 2025, tragically from an automobile accident.

He was born on March 16, 1975, in New York, son of Ronald Melendez and Maria DeLcarmen Bober. Luis was Christian faith, he loved his family, friends and helping others. Luis enjoyed fishing, clash of clans, and one of the bigger parts of his life other than family, was helping people at the Senecaville Senior Center.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Ned Rios, Love Maire Rios, Genesis Rios, Luis “Little Lu” Rios, Isaiah Rios; brother, Jose Manuel Solis; sisters, Yamilette Gonzaloc, Michi Solis, Nidzaida Solis; aunt & godmother Nidza Hill; abundant of close family & friends that are too many to mention.

He was preceded in death by his wife of over twenty years Jill Marie Bichard Rios; brother Ned Omar Solis.

No service will be held at this time.
