Rick Warne

Rick A. Warne, 73, of Zanesville Ohio, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025. Ricky was born on August 12, 1952, to Lawrence Warne and Blanche Parker. In addition to his parents, Rick is also preceded in death by his brother, Larry “Little Larry” Warne Jr. and sister, Sheila Close.

Ricke leaves to cherish his memory, his son Mitch (Kim) Warne; grandchildren, Taylor (Kyle) Hockenberry, Dalton (Shawnee) Warne and Hanna (Drew) Mckenzie; 5 great grandchildren and one expected in April, and another expected in June; niece, Deanna Miller; nephew, Scott Gainer; 3 great nieces; 1 great nephew; as well as many friends.

Rick was an offshore fisherman who was a scuba driver and a captain. He also enjoyed motorcycles, especially Harleys. He was an avid hunter, deer and duck. Rick was in the union of long shoremen and retired from the port of Huston. He was a Navy veteran who was on one of the first nuclear submarines. Rick will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Cremation has been chosen. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
