PrimeCare of Southeastern Ohio Welcomes Dr. Robert Huff
ZANESVILLE, OH – A new Doctor has joined the team at PrimeCare of Southeastern Ohio.
Dr. Robert Huff recently joined the PrimeCare staff after living in the area for the last 10 years.
He received his medical degree from Ohio University and completed his residency as well as fellowship in Cleveland.
Dr. Huff began practicing at Southeastern Ohio Medical Center in Cambridge for a few years but is now excited to help families as well as athletes here in Zanesville.
“I have a dual practice, my Board specialty is in Family Medicine and also Board Certified in Sports Medicine.” Dr. Huff said. “So I do, for those patients who have a primary care physician, I’m happy to see those folks for referrals and sports medicine and orthopedic things. Then if you don’t have a primary care physician, I’m happy to be that service for those patients as well.”
Huff says he often finds that many patients struggle to find the right primary care physician and feels he can help to fill that need as they go on their wellness journeys.
He also has a huge passion for sports medicine and making sure athletes are feeling 100% after hurdles come their way.
“My niche is kind of ultrasound guided procedures and injections so I love hearing those stories of patients who had pain and difficulty with injections in the past.” Dr. Huff said. “Then they find that ultrasound guided injections are less painful and more precise and they’re getting better results in terms of their function and pain, so that’s a huge enjoyment for me.”
