Muskingum Recreation Center to host holiday kids camp

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Muskingum Recreation Center is offering a family friendly service for kids during their holiday break.

The MRC is hosting holiday kids camp on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of next week. The camp features activities like fitness, pool games, story time, and movies for kids ages five and older.

“The children need to bring a bathing suit and towel,” Aquatic and Sport Manager, Libby Hardwick said. “They also need to pack a sack lunch and snacks. Closed toed shoes are very recommended. Tennis shoes and socks because they will be running around and being involved in a lot of physical activity.”

You can choose between full and half day sessions. The price for a full day is $20 per child. A half day is $10 per child. The last day to register is Friday, December 23 at noon.

“We are offering a 10% discount for any families that register their children before Friday at noon,” Hardwick said.
