Alma Jean Cline, 90, of Frazeysburg, Ohio, passed away Thursday morning, December 11, 2025, at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville.
Born on September 14, 1935, in Frazeysburg, she was the only child of the late Carl and Dorothy (Hall) Wilson and a 1953 graduate of Frazeysburg High School. Alma dedicated many years of her working life to Tupperware and House of Lloyds where she was employed for nearly two decades. Beyond her career, Alma’s life was defined by her deep faith and lifelong service to the Perryton Church of Christ. A faithful member, she dedicated her spare time to helping at the church from the age of 14, a commitment that reflected her servant’s heart and unwavering devotion. Alma will be remembered for her kindness, faithfulness, and the love she shared so freely with those around her. Her legacy lives on through her family and the many lives she touched throughout her years.
Surviving are her children, Jodi (Jim) Sullivan of Newark, Sharon (Richard) Adair of Zanesville, and Robert Cline of Frazeysburg. Alma was a proud and devoted grandmother to eight grandchildren Brent (Jennifer) Yingling, Brad Yingling, Michael (Kelly) Yingling, Eli Cline, Tiffany Adair, Troy (Tiffany) Adair, Travis (Lauren) Adair, Amy Sullivan and a cherished great-grandmother to fourteen great-grandchildren all of whom brought her immense joy. A special Mention to Donna Thomas, and Kali McQuiston who were such a great part of her everyday life.
In addition to her parents, Alma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph E. Cline, whom she married September 27, 1953, and who passed away on March 22, 2016. Alma and Ralph shared 62 wonderful years of marriage, building a life rooted in love, faith, and family. She was also preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter, Tonya Vickers who passed in 2025.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the funeral home with Pastor Willaim Meaige officiating. Burial will follow in Frazeysburg Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her loving husband, Ralph.
