Sandra Beckert

Sandra L. Beckert, 78, of Zanesville, Ohio passed away, unexpectedly, December 29, 2025. Sandy was born on March 14, 1947 in Canton, Ohio to Olive Bates.
Sandy leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 58 years, Larry Beckert; her children, Fred (Missy) Beckert, Susan (Troy) Brock, Debbie Beckert Whyde and Amy Beckert; grandchildren, Nathan Beckert, Austin (Sarah) Brock, Abigail Brock and Cope Beckert; and nine siblings.
She was preceded in death by her mother Olive Bates Starr, her grandmother, Anna Bates and her father and mother-in-law, Fred and Betty Beckert.
Sandy and Larry ran a family business for 25 years and she continued to work for another 25 years when their son took over the business. She poured her love and hard work into her family and her vegetable and flower garden. She loved to share her vegetables and eggs with anyone she knew. Somehow, she still had energy to exercise and take wonderful care of her pets through the years. Sandy loved escaping Ohio winters and heading to Florida to camp, fish and visit with family and the many friends they made there.
Per Sandy’s wishes, cremation has been chosen with Low Country Cremation and Burial in Glenville, GA serving the family. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
