Joyce Doolittle

Joyce Ann Doolittle, 70, of Kimbolton, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on January 10, 2026, at her home.
She was born on January 15, 1955, in Ravenna, Ohio, daughter of the late Ferrell “Bud” Boso and Nellie (Emrick) Boso. Joyce attended Ravenna High School and graduated in 1973. She was a loving wife and mother. Her favorite times are when she could spend time with her family. She loved being in the kitchen, making her peanut butter candy and finding new recipes to try out. Joyce really enjoyed her sweet treats (chocolate candy) and living in the country with her husband. She loved going out feeding the deer and watching them with their babies, the rabbits, the birds, and especially the hummingbirds. Joyce had a very special place in her heart for two of the best dogs, Lady and Maddie.
She was a loving and devoted wife to David Doolittle for 51 years. A very loving and supporting mother to two children, Shawnya (Chris) Weiss and Jamie (TerriAnn) Doolittle. She had 3 grandchildren, Austin (Beth) Lovejoy, Kaydee Doolittle, and JuleeAnn Doolittle; 3 great grandchildren, Trey, Asher, and Briggs; several nieces and nephews; and many other friends and family members.
Proceeded in death are her parents Ferrell (Bud) Boso and Nellie Boso; sister, Paula Hunsicker; and other loved ones.
Cremation has taken place, and a private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
