MVHC: Basketball Players of the Game (Monday, January 12)

ZANESVILLE, OH – There may be no better way to get the local sports week started than by looking at the local athletes who stood out over the weekend, as our latest “MVHC” Players of the Game.
We are quickly running out of fingers to count the number of consecutive wins from John Glenn! The Muskies secured their eighth straight over the Philo Electrics on Friday night, and Z92 awared Cooper Briggs as the player of the game, as he poured in 14 points in the victory.
Highway 103 saw Coshocton top Crooksville in Muskingum Valley League small school division action on Friday night. Sophomore Mason Williams accounted for 30 of Coshocton’s 85 points, which were the team’s most as a group this season.
We then look back on Saturday afternoon’s contest where Zanesville beat Licking Valley, 78 to 59. While several different Blue Devils were deserving of the honor, senior Camden Haser takes the is the player of the game by scoring his first career points after serving as the team’s manager the previous two seasons.
Congratulations to all three athletes.
