William Gray

William (Bill) Joseph Gray, 54, of Cambridge, entered heaven’s gate January 14, 2026, at home surrounded by love.
Bill was born November 2, 1971, in Bellaire, OH to James and Phyllis Gray. Bill’s life was defined not by what he had but by how deeply he loved.
Bill was a devoted husband, proud father, a loyal friend and a helper to anyone in need. But above all, he was a family man. Surviving Bill to honor his memory are his loving wife of 28 years, Heidi Gray, his sons Trevor Russell, Kyle Gray and Austin (Breannon Hoff) Gray and many nieces and nephews that he poured joy, laughter and guidance into their lives.
Bill was endlessly proud of his sons. Some of his happiest memories were dressing up in camo when his boys were young and taking them hunting with their BB guns, hiking, fishing and later coaching their baseball teams. Watching his boys grow up was one of his greatest joys and he never missed a chance to show up for them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Michele Gray and brother, Michael Gray.
Bill’s legacy will live on in the laughter he created, the love he gave so freely, and the family he cherished above all else.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice of Guernsey, not only for the wonderful care they gave to Bill but also to his family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made in Bill’s name to: Hospice of Guernsey P.O. Box 1165 Cambridge, OH 43725.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday January 21, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Bonnell Cremations Funerals Receptions, where services will start at 1:00 PM with Chaplain Chris Bright officiating.
