Terry L Soller

Terry L Soller, 63, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026, surrounded by loved ones, at Highland Oaks Health Center, after an extended illness. Born on May 16, 1962, in Columbus Ohio, he was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend.  He was known for appreciating life’s simple pleasures, especially a cigarette and a cold Pepsi, which became a familiar and fond part of who he was. Terry faced many challenges in life with a quiet courage and resilience, never losing his care for others.  He often found peace and purpose in tinkering with anything mechanical and took great pride and joy in his tools.  He was also very fond of animals always showing them patience and kindness. He is survived by a brother Kenneth Soller, a sister Jean Spring, and her husband, Jeff Spring who was not only a friend but a devoted caregiver, providing support and guidance to Terry during difficult times. A foster sister Rita (Ted) Paul, niece Monica Spring (Byron Mossholder), nephews Marcus Spring (Abby Ward), Brad Paul, Jason (Nuan) Paul and Scott (Sarah) Paul and multiple great nieces and nephews. The family extends sincere gratitude to all who offered support, kindness and care to Terry especially Judy Hooper, Trish Maxwell the staff of Highland Oaks and Genesis Hospice. Following Terry’s wishes, cremation has been entrusted to Matheney Funeral Home and a private family graveside service will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that acts of kindness be performed in Terry’s memory.
