ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Now it’s time to meet our Pet of the Week, Wally.

Wally is an energetic and playful five year old. Wally likes to go on walks, play with toys and loves to cuddle.

“Wally we believe is a Basset [Hound] Pitbull mix,” said Assistant Director Charity Stevens. “Super friendly, loves all people, he just wants to cuddle, but he’s kind of spoiled and he prefers to be the only child. So he’s going to be the only pet in the home [and have] lots of attention.”

Stevens said Wally is good with children, but suggests that the children are older for Wally may have too much energy for a toddler.

“He’s up to date on all his vaccines, neutered, and ready to go,” said Stevens. “Heart worm tested [came] in negative. So we recommended anyone come out and take a look at him. Visit with him for a little bit before you decide to make the adoption commitment.”

Wally’s adoption was sponsored by another family who wants to help find him a forever home.
