Christ’s Table Pancake Day

ZANESVILLE, Ohio -Â Christ’s table teamed up with the Sertoma Club to serve hundreds of pancakes to the community this morning.
Sertoma Pancake Day in November is like a holiday in Zanesville, and all of their leftovers go to Christ’s Table, so the community can enjoy another day of pancakes and sausage in January.
Keely Warden, Executive Director at Christ’s Table, said they will flip about 500 to 600 pancakes for the community to eat.
The Sertoma Club raises funds through several different projects year round to contribute to local non-profits, and assisting with pancake day at Christ’s Table is another way they help the less fortunate in the area.
“It’s just a great way to give back to the community and help the community out, said Scott Obenour, Treasurer of Sertoma Club. Christ’s Table does a great job taking care of getting food to people who are less fortunate, and we’re just very happy to be able to provide some assistance in that.”
Christ’s table and Sertoma Club have worked together for about twenty years, and they are thankful for how hard they work year round to assist the community.
