Ronald Mitchell

Ronald “Ronnie” B. Mitchell age 78, of Caldwell, OH formerly of Dexter City, OH passed away Friday, January 16, 2026 at Altercare Summit Acres Skilled Nursing & Rehab in Caldwell. He was born February 28, 1947 in Caldwell, OH son of the late Earl B. and Hope Willey Mitchell.
He served and protected his nation in the United States Army having served three tours in the Vietnam War with the 101st Airborne Division. Ronnie was an Army Scout Dog Handler and loved owning and training German Shepherds the rest of his life. He worked as a handyman for many years and was known for his drywall work.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister-in-law Sue Mitchell; brother-in-law Jack Davis and niece Stacey Renee Davis.
Those left to cherish his memory are three daughters Natosha Mitchell, Nikki Doudna, and Alisha Mitchell; several grandchildren; four sisters Charlene Davis, Diane (Jim) Dick, Barb (Chuck) Schott, and Lynnette Finley; brother Don Mitchell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends, and his fur-ever companion Ladybug.
