Judge Rules in Breach of Contract Case

Mansion

The owners of the former Longaberger Mansion at 7000 Creamery Road in Nashport have been sued in a breach of contract case. The action was filed in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court in November of 2015 by Camm Construction and two subcontractors in relation to renovation of a barn on the property and a failure to pay. Court filings indicate the defendants as Awesome 87 and SPG 87 LLC out of Cleveland. The law firm of Kincaid, Taylor and Geyer represented Camm Construction and was awarded a judgment by default in the amount of just over 338-thousand dollar by Common Pleas Judge Mark Fleegle. The Court also found that the Muskingum County Treasurer has a valid and existing lien on the property and that Key Bank National Association has a valid and existing lien by virtue of a mortgage. The Court says the defendants are appealing the judgment.
