One Arrested in Perry County Drug Bust

The execution of a search warrant in New Lexington leads to the arrest of one man.
The Perry County Sheriff’s Office along with the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement task Force said 44-year-old Kenneth Buster Webb Jr. is in custody and being held at the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail on felony drug trafficking and possession charges, pending a bond hearing in Perry County Court.
The sheriff’s office said Thursday they executed a search warrant at Webb’s home at 303 West Brown Street.
Authorities said the four month investigation was into the trafficking of methamphetamine at the residence.
The sheriff’s office said since October of 2016 agents made a series of undercover purchases of methamphetamine from the residence.
The sheriff’s office said additional suspects have been identified as a result of the investigation and those cases will be presented to a Perry County grand jury.
Assisting with the investigation was the Perry County Court Probation Department and the Perry County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
