Peggy Binegar

Peggy Ann Binegar, born on January 3, 1952, peacefully departed this life on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital.

Peggy’s passion for nurturing flowers bloomed most vibrantly in her love for roses, particularly the exquisite David Austin varieties. Her garden was not just a source of beauty but also a sanctuary where she poured her heart and creativity into each blossom that flourished under her care. Throughout her life, Peggy dedicated her professional efforts to banking, where she built a career that exemplified her commitment and integrity. She approached her work with the same dedication and care that she applied to her garden, making a lasting impact on those who had the pleasure of working alongside her.

Peggy is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Hammond. Their bond was one that enriched her life deeply, and his memory will forever be cherished.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Goebel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 36 North Buckeye St, Crooksville, OH 43731. Following the visitation, a burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery at 2:00 PM, situated at 12819 Twp Rd. 1206 NE, Crooksville, OH 43731.

Peggy’s gentle spirit and enduring love for plants will leave a lasting legacy, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
