The Boot Barn officially opens with a weekend of give-a-ways and sales

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – A new business held a ribbon-cutting on Friday at Northpointe Center to kick off a weekend-long celebration.

The Boot Barn had a soft opening on the 13th and todays ribbon cutting marks the official opening of the western wear store. The store offers cowboy hats, western style clothing, accessories and cowboy boots and work boots. In honor of their official opening weekend, the Boot Barn is offering sales and give-aways all weekend long.

“We’re doing a boot give-a-way every single day. Just come in and sign up and if you’re pulled randomly, then you’ll win up to $250 value for our House brand of boots. We have a prize wheel with gift cards and little knick-knacks, cookies, cups, just all kinds of things this weekend,” said Cassidy Cunningham, an inventory control specialist at Boot Barn.

Dana Matz fromt the Zanesville-Muskingum Chamber of Commerce was there for the ribbon cutting and said working with the Boot Barn as they prepare to open their doors was an easy process and is exciting to see what comes next for the newly opened store.

“So Zanesville-Muskingum County’s been a retail destination for not only Muskingum County, but the contiguous counties and even further,” Matz said. “So to see a business like this to come to our town has been fun. The folks are very kind here and we’re looking forward to a lot of success for their business.”

The Boot Barn is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
