Richard “Rick” Davis

Richard “Rick” D. Davis, 72 of Zanesville, died 1:27 AM, Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Genesis Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville. He was born Monday, June 15, 1953, in Zanesville, the son of Joseph Bailey and Mildred (Felix) Bailey.

Rick was a motorcycle enthusiast, and loved to ride his Harley Davidson. He was employed with Untied Technologies, Zanesville Metropolitan Housing Authority, and retired from Fanatics.

Rick is survived by two children, Josh Davis and Jaiden Murphy; siblings, Chris Curtis, David Curtis, Stephon Curtis, Joseph Bailey, and Howard Bailey; four grandchildren, Malachi Davis, Saleen Davis, Keira Davis and Chevy Davis; one great grandchild, Jiraiya, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by three brothers, Mark Curtis, Carl Curtis, and Otis Bailey.
