Mary Wolford

Mary Ann Wolford, 92, of Dresden, died Friday morning, January 30, 2026, at Altercare of Zanesville.

Born July 13, 1933, in Coshocton County, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert H. and Anna L. (Carnahan) Parkhill, Sr. She was a 1951 graduate of Coshocton High School and earned a two-year degree from Coshocton Business College. Mary Ann owned and operated Ken’s Gift Shop in Dresden, she was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting. She loved being social from participating in her bowling league, to morning meetings with friends at McDonalds in Dresden. Later in life, she enjoyed her weekly visit to the beauty shop, playing cards, and bingo.

Surviving is her son, Harold E. (Marsha) Wolford of Dresden; two granddaughters, Amy Wolford and Alyson Wolford; a great grandson, Coltin Wolford; a sister-in-law, Doris Parkhill; and her great grandpups Roscoe and Zeus.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Wolford, a brother, Gilbert H. Parkhill, Jr. and great grandson, Caleb Crawford.

Family and friends may visit from 5:00-7:00pm, Monday, February 2, 2026, at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil | Wagner | Marshall Funeral Homes, 714 Main Street.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Wells officiating.

Mary Ann will be laid to rest next to her husband, Kenneth, at Dresden Cemetery.
