MVHC: Basketball Players of the Game (Monday, February 9)

ZANESVILLE, OH – A two-time winner, a leading scorer finding his groove, plus the heart and soul of his team.
These three athletes are more than deserving of our “MVHC” Players of the Game!
Only a handful of boys basketball teams across the state right now are hotter than John Glenn.
The Muskies are riding a 16-game winning streak, capped off by a win on Friday over Muskingum Valley League big school division foe Philo. The heart and soul of the Muskies team is none other than Brayden Davis, as the senior poured in 19 points in the win over the Electrics, in a game broadcasted on Z92.
Meanwhile from Highway 103, we have a repeat winner, and a name familiar to MVL basketball fans. Senior guard Gator Nichols finished with 29 more points along with seven assists, as he continues to chase Maysville basketball history.
Zanesville is off to a good start in February with two wins in as many games against Johnstown-Monroe and Licking Valley in Licking County League play. Lucca Wood paced the Blue Devils in Friday’s victory over the Panthers with 20 points to tip off a four-game road trip, which will all be broadcasted on AM 1240.
Congratulations to all three athletes.
