ZANESVILLE, OH – If you’re dreaming of sunshine in the middle of winter, the Zanesville Museum of Art has just the thing.

The ZMA will host “Sunday Funday: Fun in the Sun” from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 22nd. This free event is designed to create a cheerful atmosphere during the winter months, with hands-on activities for all ages. Visitors can explore the galleries in a themed scavenger hunt, create watercolor beach scenes, take part in a sandcastle building contest using cardboard, and so much more.

“We’re going to celebrate having a break from all of the winter weather that we’ve been having here in Zanesville. You can come on down, have a little fun, and make some art activities.” ZMA Program Manager, Gail Glagola said.

The event will also feature a summer-themed photo booth, and guests are encouraged to wear their favorite warm-weather outfits.

“Wear your Hawaiian shirt! You’ll get leis at the door as long as supplies last. We hope to see you there!” Glagola said.

The Zanesville Museum of Art is located at 620 Military Road in Zanesville. No registration is required for the event.
