One Arrest in New Lexington Drug Bust

Perry County Sheriff William Barker says a New Lexington man has been charged in connection to a drug bust. The Sheriff says after a four month investigation into the trafficking of meth at 303 West Brown Street 44-year-old Kenneth Webb Jr. was arrested and is being held in the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail. A Perry County Grand Jury has indicted Webb on 11 counts including aggravated trafficking in meth with a school specification, illegal manufacturing in drugs and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. Sheriff Barker says additional suspects have been identified and those cases will be presented to a grand jury at a later time. The Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force assisted deputies in the investigation.
