Brenda Blake

Brenda Blake1

Brenda J. (Davis) Blake, 79, of Logan, OH passed away February 20, 2026, at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. Brenda was born March 4, 1946, in Lovely, KY to the late Carl and Pauline (Stepp) Davis. She was a 1964 graduate of Warfield High School and attended Moorehead State University. She enjoyed cooking and baking and loved sharing (and eating) her meals, but especially her desserts. Brenda was a devoted mother and grandmother who never missed an opportunity to volunteer as a Cub Scout Den Leader and help with Girl Scouts when her children were young. She attended school plays, sporting events, birthdays and graduations as both her children and her grandchildren went through school and became successful adults. She valued time with friends and family above all else and will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Blake; daughter Marcy (Charlie) Frank of Zanesville; son Paul Disbennet of Columbus; three grandchildren: Brett Arnold of St. Peters, Missouri, Megan Frank of Zanesville, and Hayley (Michael Cruze) Frank of Zanesville; brother Ronnie Davis; sisters: Betty (Jerry) Picard and Gail Dingess; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by sisters Ruth Davis, Sue Sluss, Judy Davis and Ruby Davis; brothers-in-law Ron Dingess and Stanley Sluss; and sister-in-law Calley Davis.

Cremation services have been entrusted to the Snouffer Crematory. THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE, has the distinct honor of serving the Blake family.
