Sheriff: Frazeysburg Mayor Under Investigation

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says the Mayor of Frazeysburg is under investigation.  Lutz says Mayor Gerald Howard is alleged to have pointed a gun at a part-time village employee.  Lutz says the Frazeysburg Police Department started the investigation on March 6th at 11:30 am and contacted his office to assist in the case.  Sheriff Lutz did not provide any other details, but he did say that once the investigation is completed it will be presented to the Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office for possible charges. Whiz News left a phone message for Mayor Howard for a comment on the investigation and are waiting for a return call.
