Carr Center Cake Auction Registration

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Carr Center is Springing forward along with the season and will be held April 26, 2017 through April 28, 2017.

The cake check in and set up will be on April 26, 2017 in the Colony Square Mall. Executive Director, Kim Hosler said they’ve already had quite a few organizations register their spot in the cake auction.

“[April 26, 2017] is when all the cakes come in and it’s the only time you’ll get to see all of the cakes together and that is the night when the community comes in and looks at all the cakes and makes a decision as to what is the people’s choice,” said Hosler.

On April 27, 2017 and April 28, 2017 about four or five cakes and an incentive will be auctioned off every fifteen minutes. Hosler said there will be a new competition for the local high schools to partake in this year.

“The life skills classes in many of the local high schools are getting involved at their own competition and there will be an independent judging of those for the most spirited cake and their will be a traveling trophy that will be awarded for that,” said Hosler.
