The Barn Ready for Party Animals

ZANESVILLE, Ohio — “The Barn” is sure to be full of party animals tonight as they prepare for big crowds with March Madness and St. Patrick’s Day celebrating in full effect.
Owner Jim Watson says that they will be prepared for basketball watchers all the way up through the beginning of April with different food specials.
“So for March Madness we’ve got a couple food specials going on. We’ve got our wings– traditional or boneless– are going to be $.65/each for all of March Madness; that’s Wednesday through Sunday. We’re also doing something a little bit different; we’ve got a Goetta bite. It’s a German sausage, a ‘Goetta sausage.’ So you get half of a platter of Goetta and half of a platter of our friend pretzel bites,” added Watson.
Watson also said he hopes to see all of Zanesville out at The Barn tonight, but if not, he hopes that locals are spending their time at local establishments and keeping their money within local business. And while he knows many will be out tonight to participate in St. Patrick’s Day festivities, he wants to make sure that all of his patrons are smart and safe when it comes time to going home.
“We look forward to having everybody down and having a safe holiday. If people are out here at The Barn we offer a ride home for them, a free ride home. We’ve got our ‘Barn Bus’ ready to roll and take people home as needed. So we’re pretty excited to be able to offer that and make it a safe holiday,” Watson explained.
The Barn will also be offering live music tonight from “Celt’s Crossing,” an authentic Irish band, starting at 5:30PM. “DJ Billboy,” out of Las Vegas, will also perform and he will on at 9:30PM. The Barn will be open until 2:30AM.
