Lady Wildcats fall in state semifinal

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Newark Lady Wildcats ended their dream season Friday night with a 75-59 loss to Notre Dame Academy in the state semifinal.

After being down 17-9 at the end of the first quarter, Newark was never able to recover.  The Lady Wildcats were down 33-16 at halftime and would fall by 16 points.

Ariel Cummings led the way for the Lady Eagles with 24 points and 14 rebounds.
