Fatal Accident Investigated in Licking County

The Granville Post of the Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle fatal accident. It happened on U-S 62 at Fancher Road in Licking County Sunday just after 6:00 pm. Troopers say 23-year-old Joshua Keeran of Johnstown was driving his pick-up truck west on 62 when a car driven by 79-year-old Robert Muench of Johnstown pulled from Francher Road, partially in the westbound lane and stopped. Troopers say the truck struck the car and both vehicles ended up in a ditch. A passenger in Muench’s vehicle, 79-year-old Constance Muench died from injuries in the crash. Mr Keeran and three passengers were treated for minor injuries at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
