Robert Allen Yates
Robert Allen Yates, age 53 of Cambridge, passed away on , 2026 due to an accident in Zanesville, Ohio. He born , 1973 to David R. Yates Jr. and Billie Jo Yates. Robert graduated from Cambridge High School and Mid East Vocational School in 1991, Ohio University 1997, and furthered his education at Kent State University. He was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church, AA, Past Master Byesville 654 Lodge and a plural member of Quaker City Lodge Guernsey Lodge 66. A Past Master of Quaker City 500 and member of Valley of Cambridge Scottish Rite. He enjoyed going to breakfast the of every month at any of the lodges and talking with the guys.
Robert was the owner of Yates Services and was employed as a Case Manager/Counselor at Ohio GuideStone. Robert’s favorite past time was the yearly trip to the beach with Aunt Jen’s family.
Those left to mourn his loss are his Mother Billie Jo Yates, Brother Roger (Pam) Yates, Nieces Nichole and Maria Yates, Nephew Derek Gibson , and Great Nephews David Allen Yates and Slade Gibson.
Robert is proceeded in death by his father David R. Yates Jr., and grandparents Robert and Norma Yates and Cecil and Lura Lawerence.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on , 2026 from 11 am to 1 pm with the service to begin at 1 pm. Pastors Adam Hall and Evan Greathouse will officiate.
