Dennis Armstrong

Dennis Dale Armstrong, 78, of Zanesville, died on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at his home. He was born March 17, 1948, in Dayton, Ohio, a son of the late Clarence and Mary (Orsini) Armstrong. He worked as an exterminator for 9 years, an insurance salesman for 17 years and was a high school wrestling coach for many years. Dennis was a member of The Church of Latter-day Saints and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards and especially going bowling.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Linda (Beaver) Armstrong, whom he married April 15, 1969; two children, Scott (Jeniffer Cook) Armstrong and April (J.R.) Vorhies; twelve grandchildren, Destiny, Joey, Autumn, Dawn, Luna, Lily, Michael, Connor, Nevaeh, Jeniffer, Samuel and Francis; two great grandchildren, Estella and Mak; a brother, David Hurd; and two sisters, Karen and Sharon.
Full Military Honors will be accorded to Dennis by the United States Marine Corps in conjunction with VFW George Selsam Post 1058.
A cremation will take place under the direction of BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, AT OUR LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED CREMAOTRY.
