Laura Nestleroad

Laura Ann Nestleroad, 56, of Zanesville, died Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at her home.

Born February 18, 1970, in Zanesville, she was a daughter of the late Jan and Mary Ann (Weinman) Nestleroad and a West Muskingum High School graduate. Laura earned her master’s degree from Ohio University and attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling and partying with her family, Minions, friends, and Angels. Laura was a huge OSU Football Fan, enjoyed Elvis Presley, and being outside in the sun.

Surviving is her husband, Mark Morrison; siblings, Shannon (Chip) Cullins, John Nestleroad, Sheryl (Ron) House, Mark (Stephanie Greer) Nestleroad, and Steve Nestleroad; sister-in-law Angie Nestleroad; father-in-law, Roger Morrison; brothers-in-law, Matt (Jennifer) Morrison and Miles (Stephanie) Morrison; step-son, Nick Morrison; step grandson, Bowen Morrison; nieces and nephews, Abby (Andrew) Murphy, Katie (Kaine) Tignor, Tori (Joe) Holmes, Tyler (Haley Patterson) Nestleroad, Josh Nestleroad, Olivia (Eric) Alexander, Sarah House, Adam House, Anna House, Luke Nestleroad, and Jason Nestleroad; special friends, Mark and Edie Steil and Lu Colley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Jacob House and mother-in-law, Shirley Morrison.

Family and friends are invited to attended the funeral service at 3:00pm, Friday, March 27, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 6280 Saint Mary’s Road, Nashport with Father Martin Ralko officiating.

Laura will be laid to rest at Mattingly Settlement Cemetery, Nashport.

Immediately following the burial, a Celebration of Laura will be held Friday, March 27, 2026, at the Dresden American Legion, 1384 Main Street, Dresden, Ohio 43821.
