“This is actually an event that I use to hold many years ago, when I use to work for the [Muskingum County Sheriff’s Department],” Criminal Justice Instructor Phil Snider said. “We held it a lot at local schools. Had a lot of positive outcomes from it at that time and it was something I wanted to try here at [Mid-East Career and Technology Centers].”
Criminal Justice Instructor, Phil Snider said Eagle Sticks Golf Club donated a golf cart and Ohio Department of Transportation donated the traffic cones.
“I hope it’s something we can continue throughout the years here at [Mid-East Career and Technology Centers],” Snider said. “Our administration certainly supports the activity and like I stated earlier we got a lot of support from the community. From Eagle Sticks Golf Course and the Ohio Department of Transportation.”
Snider says this week is Prom week for the students and Mid-East Career and Technology Centers is using a series of events to show the risks of impaired driving.
