Betty Y. Ross

ZANESVILLE

Betty Yolanda Maye Ross 86, of Zanesville passed away on Wednesday April 12, 2017 at the Oaks at North Pointe.
Betty was born in Gallia County, Ohio on April 11, 1931 to the late Willis B. and Laura Grace Wilbur Maye. Betty was a merchandiser at K-Mart for many years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, flowers, gardening, and fishing with her rubber gloves on. Betty was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by a son Steven Brett Ross, five grandchildren: Tim Coss, Adam (Emily) Ross, Eric (Kristen) Stotts, Abbie (Dakota Tom) Ross, and Andrea (Tyler Blodgett) Ross, three great grandchildren: Dylan Richardson, Olan, and Dempsey Ross, a special niece Donna Sidwell and many other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Walter George “Dick” Ross, a daughter Marcia Renee Stotts, two brothers Cecil Maye and Francis Maye, and a sister Thelma Inman.

Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 on Monday April 17, 2017 and from 11AM-1PM on Tuesday April 18, 2017 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. The comforting funeral service will be at 1pm on Tuesday in the Snouffer Chapel with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
