On The Fly: Local Favorite Adornetto’s Back Open After Makeover

ZANESVILLE, OH – A local staple is welcoming customers back inside after months of renovations.
Adornetto’s reopened its dining room on April 15th following a 7-month closure and renovation project.
“Wow. It’s great to be open. It took a long time for the renovations. We were really excited planning it for a couple years. The process was great, a little tedious, but we’re very happy with the results and now it’s just great to see people in the doors.” Adrian Adornetto, Owner of Adornetto’s said.
The updated space now features a Sicilian-inspired theme, bringing a refreshed feel while still serving the same pizza customers know and love. From an orange Vespa to mediterranean style tile work, and even a Fiat on display, the new design brings pieces of Sicily right here to Zanesville.
“For people who grew up pin Zanesville, they’re going to see a little bit from past dining blended together. We did add a little more Sicilian influence to it. If you look around, you’ll see the car downstairs that came from Italy. You’ll see projectors show video of people walking through Italy without sound, just to create activity.” Adornetto said.
Speaking of activity, WHIZ’s Shylin Costello and Aniyah Hart stepped behind the bar to try their hand at one of Adornetto’s signature drinks. The brand-new bar is one of the first things you’ll notice when you walk in. It adds a fresh and modern element to the dining experience.
Since reopening, customers have been stopping in to check out the updated space.
“I really appreciate the community supporting us over all the years. All I can say is thank you.” Adornetto said.
Cheers to a fresh new look, and a fresh new experience here at Adornetto’s.
Adornetto’s is located at 2224 Maple Avenue in Zanesville. For hours, a full menu, or additional details, you can visit their website.
