ZANESVILLE, OH – Spring is in full bloom in Zanesville, and one local garden center is growing more than just plants.

Timber Run Gardens welcomed visitors today for a spring open house and ribbon cutting ceremony, celebrating new ownership and a fresh chapter for the longtime plant nursery. Along with the change in leadership, the space has also seen a recent remodel, bringing new life to a place rooted in the community.

“We’ve completely restocked and got everything pretty much full. Employees are telling me that we can’t take in anymore and to stop buying plants. We’ve just totally restocked and we’ve added new items. We’ve added bulk materials to the list and we’re going to be adding pavers as well here soon. So, a lot of different stuff.” Owner of Timber Run Gardens, Chad Parker said.

With planting season underway, the new owners say they are looking forward to building on the nursery’s legacy while creating a welcoming spot for both beginners and seasoned gardeners.

“I’m looking forward to continued growth, the support of the community, and growing the facility. Just growing our business and being able to provide good quality plants and good quality service to the customers.” Parker said.

Timber Run Gardens is located at 4350 West Pike in Zanesville. More information can be found on their website.
