Gordon Dozer

Gordon Ralph Dozer, 81of Zanesville died at Sunday afternoon May 10, 2026 at the residence.
He was born August 28, 1944 in Zanesville, Ohio the son of James Dozer and Frances B Drumm Dozer.
Gordon was a member of the Muskingum Church on Gorsuch Rd. and a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was employed for many years as a Business Equipment Technician for Pitney Bowes, Allied Office Supplies and Professional Service Techniques. He enjoyed fishing, and was a near professional pool player who enjoyed his Old Milwaukee Beer.
Gordon is survived by his wife, Edna “Carolyn” Weiser Dozer, whom he married September 17, 1988; his children, Scott (Stacey Dawson) Dozer, Kim (Mike McClary) Lane, David (Jane) Church and Susan (Wes) Pickens; grandchildren, Chastity Kennedy, Kimberly (Jerica) Kennedy, Erich (Mariah Frash) Dozer, Taylor (Alex) Hamilton; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by a sister Sharon Duell.
A private Celebration of Life service with Military Honors will take place at a later date at his church.
