Dale Nathan Harden, 67 of Zanesville died under hospice care at 3:05 PM Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the home surrounded by his family.
He was born August 30, 1958 in Zanesville, Ohio the son of Wayne Franklin Harden and Evelyn Lucille Filkins Harden.
Dale was a member of The Anchor Church and employed at Essex Wire and later with Longenberger Factory. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, playing first base in softball and was an avid Ohio State Football and Cleveland Browns Fan.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Julie Ann Schoditsch Harden; children, Leeann Harden, Roger (Jenny) Newberry, Christopher Newberry, Tessa Harden and Barbara (Brandon) Jacobs; grandchildren, Brad, Alexyus, Daniel, Noah, Dominic, Rosalynn, Avery, Emmett, Andrew, Joshua, Kàlaneah; great grandchildren, Noveah, Delilah, Judson; a sister, Debra (Rex Thomson) Patterson; several nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents Dale was preceded in death by a niece, Chelsey Thompson and a nephew Dustin Patterson.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM with funeral service to follow at 5:00 PM with Pastor Aaron Bounds officiating on Wednesday May 27th. 2026 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home.
