Flora Lincicome

Flora Jean Lincicome 94, of Zanesville, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026 at The Oaks at Bethesda. She was born on September 23, 1931 in Muskingum County, a daughter of the late Oliver E. and Mildred McDonald Lincicome. She was a graduate of Lash High School, Zanesville and The Lancaster Fairfield School of Nursing in 1953. She worked at several hospitals in Ohio and Phoenix, Arizona in obstetrics and in special duty service.
Jeanie enjoyed her life and watched all kinds of sports on TV, particularly The Ohio State Buckeyes. She crocheted afghans, did the daily puzzle page in the TR, enjoyed reading, and all the get-togethers with friends and family. She was affiliated with the Baptist church and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star #485.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers Chet (LaVaughn) Lincicome, Bill (Marjorie) Lincicome, Calvin (Peg) Lincicome, Ray (Frances) Lincicome and a sister Wilma (Lafe) Glasscoe and several nieces and nephews.
Survivors include a sister Ruthanne Cassidy of Middletown, Ohio, brother Roy (Claire) Lincicome of Connecticut, and several nephews and nieces and their families. A special thank you to the staff at The Oaks at Bethesda.
Friends and family may call from 11:00-12:00 Thursday, May 28, 2026 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where a service will follow at 12:00 pm with Pastor Geoff Geyer officiating.
