Vickie Burtnett

Vickie Sue Burtnett, 61, of Roseville, Ohio, passed away on May 22, 2026.

Vickie was born on October 17, 1964, and spent her life devoted to her family, friends, and caring for others. She worked for many years as a respiratory therapist, dedicating herself to helping those in need with compassion and kindness.

Vickie found joy in the simple things that made life special. She was an avid Pokémon GO enthusiast, loved spending time sunbathing, and adored her beloved dog, Zeus. Above all, she treasured her grandchildren and took every opportunity to spoil them with love and affection.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bessie Bonifant; her beloved husband, Pete Burtnett, whom she married on December 20, 1986; her brother, Mikey; her stepmother, Marilyn Thomas; and her stepfather, Virgil Bonifant.

She is survived by her loving children, Justin Burtnett and Jessica (Zack) Boring; her cherished grandchildren, Nikki, Wyatt, Felicity, and Mia; her father, Roger Thomas; and her siblings, Martha (Chris) Bilyeu, Jerry (Ann) Bonifant, Dale Bonifant, Debra Burtnett, Virgil Bonifant, and Linda (Craig) Igel.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with funeral services beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Repass meal will take place at The Eagles in Zanesville, the family as that you bring a covered dish.

Vickie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her caring heart, playful spirit, and love for her family will forever be remembered.
