2 Injured Following Plane Crash in Dresden

CASS TOWNSHIP, OH – Two people were injured following a plane crash on Friday Afternoon.
According to Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol, around noon Troopers were dispatched to Spease Road, just North of SR16, in regards to a plane crash.
Troopers say 76-year-old John Graham, of Adams Mill, was flying a Boeing E75 Stearman with a passenger, 69-year-old Debra Graham when it crashed.
Upon initial investigation, Troopers say the plane suffered from engine failure which caused the plane to crash into the field.
John Graham was transported to Genesis Hospital with serious injuries and Debra Graham was flown to the OSU Medical Center in Columbus with serious injuries.
Assisting on the scene were the Dresden Fire and EMS, Frazeysburg EMS, Med Flight, and the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office.
The Federal Aviation Association and the National Transportation Safety Board were contacted and also responded to the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
