Local Area Placers Shine at State Track and Field Meet

COLUMBUS, OH – Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium became quite the popular tourist attraction at the tail end of this week, housing hundreds of track and field stars from around the state for the Ohio High School Athletic Association state meet.

Among those talented stars, were 88 different local area athletes from 21 different schools who took center stage in the heart of Columbus.

Below are the results from the local athletes who reached the finals in their respective events, and where they landed, sorted by division. The top eight finishers in each event reached the podium and All-Ohio status.
