Jenilee “Jenny” LaMay

Jenilee “Jenny” LaMay, 74 of Nashport died under Hospice Care at 5:48 PM Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at her home following a short battle with cancer.

She was born on Saturday, October 6, 1951, in Zanesville, Ohio, the daughter of Robert C. LaMay and June E. Long LaMay.

Jenny was a member of Westwood Baptist Church, retired after 37 years from Genesis Healthcare as a HR Assistant and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her son, Erik David Lamay; two granddaughters, Khloe Lynn LaMay & Kendra Ann LaMay; two nephews, Kalib LaMay & Mitchell LaMay; a sister-in-law, Dru LaMay and her two pet Chihuahua’s, Jax and Cheddar.
In addition to her parents, Jenny was preceded in death by her husband, George Ansel and a brother Robert “Bobby Dew” C. LaMay.
A private family Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
